Sam came home

early from school.

No one was at home.

Strange voice: Hi!

Sam: Hi!

Strange voice: Who is talking?

Sam: This is Sam.

 

 

Strange voice: May I talk 

to your father?

Sam: He is at work.

 

 

Strange voice: OK, 

may I talk to your mother?

Sam: My mother is at the hospital

with my grandfather.

 

 

Strange voice: Is there an adult

I can talk to?

Sam: No, I am at home

by myself.

 

 

Strange voice: I see.

OK, I will call later.
